About Gigi’s Closet:

There’s no role I cherish more than being a Gigi to my precious grandchildren. After years in the insurance industry, I grew tired of its impersonal changes and yearned to spend more time with my family. I wanted to be there for school pickups, sharing laughter and love with my grandkids.

One day, my son suggested I watch a documentary called "Goodwill Dumping". It opened my eyes to the heartbreaking reality of unwanted clothing from the U.S. piling up as waste on beaches in Ghana. When I discovered similar issues with Amazon returns right here at home, I knew I wanted to do something. That’s when Gigi’s Closet was born.

I retired from insurance to pour my heart into a new mission: rescuing new and gently used items from landfills while being home for my grandchildren. With every item I carefully select for Gigi’s Closet, I’m not just offering treasures for your home—I’m helping create a cleaner, brighter world for my grandkids and yours.
